Grant Administration Specialist
Are you obsessive with details and extremely well organized? Do you like to write and do research? Are you passionate about helping everyone in our region thrive? Due to an internal promotion, the East Central Iowa Council of Governments is seeking a Grant Specialist to join the ECICOG team. This position writes and administers a variety of state/federal grants. These grants provide important funding for community projects throughout our six-county region. Don’t worry about the funny acronyms in the job description – we will provide training to help the successful applicant learn the federal grant process!
The Grant Specialist position requires a minimum of three years of office experience. A bachelor’s degree and/or experience with grants is preferred but not required. There are occasional evening meetings and the incumbent must possess a valid Iowa driver’s license.

Executive Director
The Housing Fund for Linn County (HFfLC) is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life within Linn County. Since its establishment as a 501(c)(3) in 2007 and certification as an Iowa Housing Trust Fund in 2008, HFfLC has been granted over $6.3 million from the Iowa Finance Authority, making awards of over $6.3 million to over 30 different entities to benefit over 2,100 households. The Executive Director of the HFfLC will oversee the organization's operations, strategic direction, and community engagement. This role presents a unique and significant opportunity for a self-motivated leader to make a real difference in the community.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred), a minimum of 3 years of experience in non-profit management, housing policy, or related fields. Experience in affordable housing finance is a plus. It is preferred to have a proven track record of at least 3 years in a leadership role within the non-profit sector or a related field. There are occasional evening meetings, and the incumbent must possess a valid Iowa driver’s license.
